Child Safe Sport

Biathlon East Australia and its Member Associations and Clubs are committed to ensuring the safety of children and young people. Child protection is about keeping children and young people safe from abuse and protecting them from people who are unsuitable to work with children. All children have a right to be safe when participating in sport and recreation activities.

Biathlon East Australia's Child Safe Policy aims to protect the safety of children and young people involved in biathlon and prevent abuse from occuring. It ensures that allegations raised in relation to child abuse are confidentially and properly addressed. You are encouraged to be familiar with BEA's procedures for handling allegations of child abuse.
