A September School Holiday Program incorporating a 2 hour Surf School lesson with the Lakes Entrance Surf School is being held at East Cape Conran for BEA and East Gippsland Biathlon Club member athletes as part of the Active Snowy River Programs.  

The program is part of the 2021 Biathlon East Australia / East Gippsland Biathlon Club Community Building programs.  The event will be run under the Victorian Government requirements for COVID19 safe sport.

Where:   East Cape Conran; meet in second car park

Activities:  Surf lesson run by the Lakes Surf Shack and try laser biathlon run by East Gippsland Biathlon Club

Training Schedule:     A two hour Surf Lessons will be provided by Lakes Entrance Surf School on each of Sunday 19 - Monday 21 September.  After each Surf Lesson EGBC will run a come and try try laser biathlon session with instruction and coaching.

It is encouraged that participants attend all three surf lessons.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the session start to complete the Surf School waiver, enrolement and covid forms.

Given inclement weather or dangerous surf sessions may be cancelled at the discretion of the Surf School. Wednesday 22 is reserved as a back up day. 

Times: 10.00am - 12 noon and 12.30pm - 2.30pm given demand

Cost: The program and Surf Lesson is Free to EGBC members

Attendees U18 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.  Parent / guardians are required to be EGBC Active Snowy River members.  Membership is complimentary (valued at $60).  This is to meet our Childsafe and insurance requirements.

Equipment: Surf boards and wet suits will be provided by the Surf Shack coaches. 

Laser rifles will be provided by EGBC.
