Athletes who recently took part in the NSW Laser Biathlon Junior Series from Jindabyne, Cooma and Canberra are invited to a weekend of laser biathlon training.

Where:  Perisher Valley Laser Biathlon Range      

Activities: Laser biathlon, including XC skiing, laser biathlon shooting and how to put them together. 

Cost: nil

NSW Biathlon Association and the East Australian Biathlon Association are providing support for this weekend  

Schedule:

Sat 15th Sept and Sunday 16 Sept  

9am - Range Set up

9.30am to 11.30am - Laser Biathlon  

11.30am to 1pm - Lunch 

1pm to 3pm - Laser Biathlon 

3.30pm - Range pack up

Shooting:  Laser equipment will be provided. Athletes should bring their own XC skiing equipment. 

What to Bring:   

i) XC Skiing equipment 

ii)  Drinks, snacks and lunch 

iii) suitable training clothing with layers. A change of clothing should be available in case of inclement weather.  

iv) sunscreen, sunglasses, suitable  head-wear

Assistance:  Coach Cameron Morton is seeking the assistance of an interested parent (s) to assist with the Camp.

Competence in XC skiing and a desire to learn how to use the laser systems and to provide on-going coaching to  athletes in-between training Camps.
