Biathlon ACT Training Weekend  (in conjunction with NSW Biathlon)

Where: Various locations around ACT

Activities:  Roller-skiing, laser shooting, .22 shooting, running

Time:  Between 8am and 5.00pm each day / 2 sessions per day.  

Equipment:  Roller-skis, boots, poles and helmet. Roller skis, boots and poles can be provided. Laser rifles will be provided.  

.22 Shooting: Those shooting .22 rifles, should bring ammunition, biathlon armband, rifle, minors permit or firearms license.

For athletes with an interest in .22 shooting biathlon rifles can be provided. Please indicate your interest when registering. 

Clothing: Please wear clothing suitable for physical activity and covered shoes for shooting. 

Cost: $25 per session or $40 per day.  $5 laser or rifle hire per session.

Sat 23rd February 

Meet at 46 Redfern St, Cook. 

8.00am -9.00am Roller-skiing

9.15am-11.00am Hill running - bring short poles

1.30pm - 3.30pm Shooting and Mtn biking - High Performance athletes

3.30pm - 5.00pm Shooting and Mtn biking  - Development athletes 

Sun 24th February 

Meet at Canberra Rifle Club, Majura Shooting Complex 

8.00am - 10.00 am .22 shooting - high performance 

10.00am - 11.30pm .22 shooting and laser shooting - development 

1.00pm  - 3.00pm .22 shooting high performance 

3.00pm -4.30pm .22 shooting and laser shooting- development 

Camp finished and home
