A Biathlon program is continuing in the Southern Highlands and will include roller-skiing and laser biathlon.   

Term 1 -  the program will run for a further 4 weeks from Thursday 21.March until Thursday 11 April

In order for competent athletes to maximise their development, it is suggested they attend consecutive sessions on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON 

• Developing Beginners - Rollerskiing & Laser biathlon 3.15 - 4.30pm. 
• Competent Biathlon athletes - Rollerskiing & Laser biathlon 4.30 - 6.30pm

FRIDAY MORNING 

• Competent Biathlon athletes only - 6.45am - 8.15am. 

Location: Oxley College - 11-29 Railway Parade, Burradoo (up from the bus turn around)

Developing Beginners - For 1 hour of coaching $15 per week, plus $5 laser rifle hire. Minimum participants 3.

Competent Biathlon athletes - For  2 sessions of coaching $50 per week, plus $5 laser rifle hire. Minimum participants 6.

One session of Thursday afternoon, can be selected, however to attend Friday morning session, you must attend Thursday afternoon. 

 Laser Biathlon:  Laser biathlon equipment will be provided.

Roller Skiing: Rollerskis / boots / poles can be provided.

What to Bring and Wear:   

i) Equipment for roller-skiing  - poles, helmet, boots, roller-skis, long socks for XC ski boots. 

Please indicate when registering equipment you may need. 

All athletes must have a helmet to roller-ski. Knee pads and elbow pads are recommended.

ii) Training clothing, including socks over the ankle for roller-skiing and covered running footwear for attending laser biathlon activities.  

iii) A drink bottle, hat, sunscreen for all sessions attended.
