Biathlon ACT Roller Ski and Laser Biathlon

Mini Champs to Masters Monday  

(in conjunction with NSW Biathlon Association)  

Biathlon ACT are holding roller-ski and laser biathlon training every Monday afternoon in May at Mt Stromlo Forest Park.  

Time:  Beginner   4pm to 4.50pm (New to Rollersking and Laser Biathlon)

           Development/Masters   4pm to 5.30pm (Competent at rollerskiing)

Coaching:  will be provide by Biathlon ACT's High Performance athletes.

Darcie Morton (Biathlon Youth Olympian and World Junior Championship representative)

 Archie Gordon (Biathlon World Junior Championship representative)

 Bentley Walker-Broose (XC World Junior Championship representative)

Coordinated by 2006 Winter Olympian and State Coach Cameron Morton.

  Participants will require:

• roller skis, poles, xc ski boots 
• helmet 
• knee and elbow pads are recommended for new roller-ski athletes
• laser biathlon equipment will be provided

If you require equipment, please indicate your requirements when registering. Biathlon ACT has a limited supply of roller-skis, boots and poles available for use by attendees.

You must bring a drink(s), snack and wear sunscreen.

Cost per session:

• Beginning       $10
• Beginning 4 week Monday Package $45 ($15 discount)
• Development $20 (Development siblings half this price!) 
• Development 4 week Monday Package $85 ($15 discount)
• Masters         $20
• Masters 4 Week Monday Package $85 ($15 discount)

A $5 laser hire fee per session will be included when registering (paid only once for package purchases).  

Where: Mt Stromlo Forest Park Criterium Circuit

Weekly Package: In order to ensure sessions can occur each week and coming into the winter season, it is strongly encouraged that participants register for the weekly (discounted) package. This ensures coaches have consistency of attendance and committment from participants to be available each week.
