A biathlon training weekend is being held in Jindabyne.
(in conjunction with NSW Biathlon)
Where: Various locations around Jindabyne
Activities: Roller-skiing, laser biathlon, .22 biathlon, mountain run and strength training
Schedule:
Sat 18th May
9.00am to 11.30am Roller Skiing, technique and Laser Biathlon Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre Sports Oval
2.30pm to 4.30pm Saw Pit Creek Pallaibo Walking Track - Running and Core Strength.
Sun 19th May
9.00am to 11.00am Roller Skiing and Laser Biathlon Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre Sports Oval
1.30pm to 3.30pm Biathlon Shooting SSAA Range at Berridale.
Attendees at the Berridale Range must bring their shooting license or a completed and signed P650 form along with required identification and come with their parent. Download a P650 form below.
Ammuniton will be available at the SSAA Berridale Range at $8 per box. It is suggested 2 boxes will be required. A Range fee of $5 for SSAA junior members will apply. Please bring cash to make payment at the Range.
Equipment: Rollerskis, boots and poles can be provided. Laser rifles and biathlon rifles will be provided. Helmets are mandatory and must be worn for roller-skiing.
Cost:
$20 laser biathlon or .22 biathlon sessions
$10 Mountain run with agility and core strength
Attend 2 sessions on Saturday $30
Attend 2 sessions on Sunday $40
A $5 hire fee for laser or biathlon rifle hire will apply to sessions where laser or .22 rifles are required.
Note: if attending both sessions on a day, please select the both sessions option only when registering.
Note: Active Kids vouchers can be used for these sessions.
