NSW Biathlon Term 2 Masters Sessions

In Term 2, the Masters Program will offer alternative weeks of roller-skiing and laser biathlon. 

Individual sessions or a package of sessions can be purchased to assist with coach planning. 

Laser Biathlon Sessions  

• will commence at 8am on 5 May, 19 May, 26 May, 16 June
• for laser biathlon on 9 June please click here for our long weekend program in Jindabyne, including Laser Biathlon Summer Series Event 2
•  will run for 1hr 15mins and include coaching in roller-skiing and laser biathlon.   
• will be held at Robyn Webster Sports Centre, Tempe Netball Courts
• laser equipment will be provided 
• Cost $25 for casual attendance, $20 for a package purchase and payment up-front.
• $5 hire of laser rifles will be added to the session cost 

Roller-Ski Sessions 

• will commence at 9am on 12 May, 2 June, 23 June 
• will run for up to 90mins and be directed by Masters Co-ordinator Gary McGregor
• will be held at Newington Armory, Sydney Olympic Park 
• no cost to members of NSW Biathlon 
• newcomers can try a few times before being becoming a member 

Equipment Required

Participants will require:

• roller-skis and XC ski boots
• poles 
• helmet
• knee and elbow pads are recommended for new roller-ski athletes
• bring drink, snack and wear sunscreen
• laser biathlon equipment will be provided 

Equipment Hire 

Roller-skis, boots and smaller size poles are available to hire for $5. Please indicate your equipment requirements when registering.

Please ensure you bring socks, the socks reach over your ankle and are the length of crew socks. 

Registration  

Please register (and pay where required) for the dates you would like to attend for the term. This allows us to engage coaches and ensure your attendance at the session can be well-supported. 

If you are uncertain as to your available dates, registration on a weekly basis will remain open all Term.
