REGISTRATION - DIVISION 5 (Yr3-4)

Date: Monday 19th August 2019
Where: Perisher Valley Biathlon Range
Bib Pick-up: from 9.00am at the NPWS Ranger Station
Course Inspection: from 9:15am
Event Start Time: 10.00am
Cost: $45 per entry
Entries Close: Tuesday 13th August at 11.59pm
Presentation: Will be held at the conclusion of racing (time to be advised)
Racing Format:
- XC skate technique (classic permitted)
- Combined mass start/interval start with timing.
- Competitors will ski two loops and shoot once
- Competitors will be required to hit 5 biathlon targets before they leave the Range for their 2nd loop
- Medals will be awarded to place-getters

Schools Competition
A School's Cup will be awarded to the girl's and boy's school that achieves the highest point score using a combination of participation and racing results.

Laser Training Sessions: Laser training sessions will be available on Saturday 17th August and Sunday 18th August. Please book at least one training session so you are familiar with using the laser biathlon system and the loops you will ski on race day.
XC Skiing Training Sessions: Entrants must be able to XC ski. Please contact the Perisher XC Ski Schools via the links below for your XC skiing instruction requirements.
