June Long Weekend Onsnow Training Camp
Event information
Registrations for this event are closed.
With the excellent early season snow falls we are excited to have the opportunity to change the 2019 season opening camp program to on-snow.
While the early season snowfalls have been goood, the XC Ski trails and Biathlon Range, because they are on vegetation, require packing and careful grooming in the early stages of the season, to protect the environment until snow depth increases. This means flexibility will be required regarding ski trails that are available and the structrue of the sessions.
The Camp will continue to provide .22 Biathon training sessions each Sunday and Monday afternoon at Berridale SSAA Range. These are important sessions for those athletes aiming to race in Biathlon selection races at Mt Hotham this season and 2020 WYOGs trials.
Laser biathlon races (with some dependence on weather) will be held on Sunday morning and for further preperation, a sprint time trial challenge under lights at Lake Crackenback Resort will be held Sunday evening.
The program will be great early season training and coaching, and has something for everyone.
