Coaching and waxing support is available to members of Biathlon in East Australia Associations and Clubs at the 2019 National Junior X C Skiing Championships

Venue: Falls Creek Cross Country Trails 

Draft Schedule:

Friday 30th August 2019 

For those who can arrive on Thursday evening, Friday morning review of the XC trails and course inspection will be arranged.  An afternoon stretch and light run.

Sat 31st August 2019

9 am -  Sprint Classic timetrial, heats and finals 

3.30 pm - team run, stretching, waxing advice and race debrief

Sun 1st September 2019

9 am - Distance Freestyle Championships

A final program will be confirmed with participants in the week prior to the event.

Waxing: Ski waxing for events will be provided as part of the coaching support .and program.  Note: these races are LF wax only, no HF or Powers are permitted. 

Cost:   Classic skis will cost $30 per pair for glide, grip waxing and structuring. Skating skis will cost $15 for glide waxing and structuring. Coaching/service fee per athlete will depend upon the the number of athletes who are part of the event and will cover coaches daily fees plus any additional expenses. The aim is to keep the cost as low as possible. 

Accomodation: limited  team accomodation is being arranged at YMCA Howmans Gap including breakfast and dinner meals. Please indicate your interest in being part of the team accomodation when registering your EOI. 

Registration: Interested athletes should register their attendance by 14 July 2019 so final numbers, costings and details can be advised.
