Talented athletes including athletes who recently took part in the Biathlon in East Australia Laser Biathlon Junior Series from Jindabyne, Cooma and Canberra are invited to attend one of two talented biathlon training workshops being offered.  

Where:  Perisher Valley Laser Biathlon Range      

Activities: Laser biathlon, including XC skiing, laser biathlon shooting and how to put them together.

Schedule:

Sun 22nd Sept 2019 

8.30am - Range Set up

9.00 am to 11.00am - Laser Biathlon workshop 1

11.30am to 1.30 pm - Laser Biathlon workshop 2 

A discussion will be held after each session on how to get more involved in biathlon and programs offered from participation to high performance. 

Participants will be advised which session to attend once all registrations are recevied, based on experience, age and level. 

Laser Biathlon Equipment:  Laser biathlon equipment will be provided. Athletes should bring their own XC skiing equipment including boots, skis, poles, gloves and eyewear.  

What to Bring:   

i) XC Skiing equipment 

ii)  Drinks and snacks  

iii) suitable training clothing with layers. A change of clothing should be available in case of inclement weather.  

iv) sunscreen, sunglasses, suitable  head-wear

The Workshops are being held by East Australia Biathlon Club and Biathlon ACT on behalf of  and supported by NSW Biathlon Association.
