IBU Biathlon Session - Alpine Target Rifle Club
Registrations for biathlon shooting training for February and March 2020 are now open.
Where: HorseShoe Range, Anzac Rifle Range
245 Franklin Street, Malabar.
Time: Sessions will be for 1hour and attendance will rotate between 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Session Structrue: Sessions will be structrued so each athlete has access to their own rifle with a maximum of 5 athletes (excluding 2020 WYOG athlete) per session.
First session attendees will be required to assist with set-up and last session with pack-up.
Please register for each session date in Feb and March you will be attending via a purhcased ticket. In the additional information, you will be asked to advise your preferred session time, any sessions times you cannot attend, plus advise regarding licensing, ammunition order etc.
There is space to add any additional comments regarding your sessions times.
If you register to attend a session but cannot subsequently attend at the time nominated, there is flexibility to swap session times within the group of athletes who are registered, please advise NSW Biathlon if this occurs.
Sign-Up Blocks: Athletes are requested to sign-up for sessions in continuity as this will best develop skills. Coaches will aim to group athletes into sessions of similar ability and age based upon preferred attendance times.
Date: Commencing from Sat 8th Feb to Sat 28th March
Feb dates: 8 Feb, 15 Feb, 22 Feb, 29 Feb
Mar dates: 7 Mar, 14 Mar, 21 Mar, 28 Mar
Wear: Covered shoes, comfortable clothes for lying on a biathlon mat.
Bring: Drink, hat and wear sunscreen
Equipment: Biathlon rifle, armband, ammunition. Biathlon equipment can be provided, please indicate your requirements when registering.
Licence and Permits: Licensed shooters must bring their licence or minors permit.
If you are waiting for your licence to be issued a completed P650 form and shooter photo identification document is required. Parents must be in attendance if the athlete is under 18yrs, bring their own photo ID and medicare card with U18 child listed.
Cost: $30 coaching fees - pay on line when registering
Range fees - $25 (Junior)/ $35 (seniors). Bring cash to pay at the Range.
Rilfe Hire $5 per week pay on line when registering
Ammunition: ammunition will be required. A box of ammuniton can be ordered for $9.00 per box (50 rounds). Or you may wish to order 500 rounds (10 boxes), price TBA.
