IBU Biathlon Session - Alpine Target Rifle Club  

Registrations for biathlon shooting training for August 2020 are now open. 

The session will comply with the NSW Government COVID19 community sport requirements. 

Please be familar with  these requirements by downloading the COVID19 Safety Plan at the bottom of this event.

If you are ill or have flu-like symptions, please donot attend. 

New requirements in NSW apply to spectators (can only be a parent, carer or guardian) and participants who have been in Victoria or NSW hot sports.

Where:  HorseShoe Range, Anzac Rifle Range

              245 Franklin Street, Malabar.

Time:  One session will be held from 1.30pm to 3.00pm.

Attendees are requested to arrive at 1pm (if possible) to assist with set-up. Attendees will be required to assist with pack-up.   

Session Structure: Sessions are aimed to be structrued so each athlete has access to their own or a Club rifle. However this may not always be possible and athletes using a Club rifle may be required to share in accordance with COVID19 Safety Plan requirements.   

In the event  that the  numbers of athletes registered would run better with two sessions being held, this will be considered.   

Please register for each session date in August you will be attending via a purhcased ticket.  

Sign-Up Blocks:  Athletes are requested to sign-up for continuous sessions as skills are better developed with regular shooting.   

Date:  Commencing from 1 August 2020 to 29 August 2020  

August dates: 1 Aug, 8 Aug, 15 Aug, 22 Aug, 29 Aug

Wear:  Covered shoes, comfortable clothes for lying on a biathlon mat. 

Bring:  Drink, hat and wear sunscreen 

Equipment: Biathlon rifle, armband, ammunition. Biathlon equipment can be provided, please indicate your requirements when registering. 

Licence, Permits, Membership Cards:  Licensed shooters must bring their licence or minors permit and their Alpine membership card or letter.  

If you are waiting for your licence to be issued a completed P650 form and shooter photo identification document is required. Parents must be in attendance if the athlete is under 18yrs, bring their own photo ID and medicare card with U18 child listed. 

Cost:  $30 coaching fees - pay on line when registering

Range fees - $25 (Junior)/ $35 (seniors). Bring cash to pay at the Range. 

Rilfe Hire $5 per week pay on line when registering

Ammunition:  ammunition will be required. A box of ammuniton can be ordered for $10.00 per box (50 rounds). 

Athletes are encouraged to order a box of 500 rounds  for $94.00 Please indicate your order when registering.
