A training weekend is being held at the Canberra Rifle Club for Biathlon ACT member athletes. 

The Camp is part of the 2020 Biathlon East Australia, Biathlon ACT and NSW Biathlon Summer Biathlon program and will be run under the ACT requirements for COVID19 safe sport and Canberra Rifle Club COVID safe requirements.

BEA State Team athletes based in NSW and with their own biathlon rifle may be able to attend, subject to numbers. 

Where:  Canberra Rifle Club and various roller-ski pathways in Canberra

Activities:  .22 biathlon shooting and roller-skiing session 

Training Schedule: 

Sat 31st Oct: 4.00pm to 6.30pm - .22 biathlon shooting and running

Sun 1st Nov: 7.00am to 9.00am .22 biathlon shooting and running

10.30am to 12.30pm roller-skiing  

All sessions commence at Canberra Rifle Club.  All attendees are  expected  to assist with shooting set-up and pack-up. Training sessions will begin once set-up is completed. 

Equipment: Roller skis, boots, poles, biathlon rifle and accessories, ammunition. 

Arrangements:

Catering  - sport drinks, water and snacks are to be self-provided.  There will be no catering provided. 

Accomodation maybe available - please email actbiathlon@gmail.com if you are interested in accomodation at CRC.

Cost:  $35 per session

Range Fees and Ammuniton Canberra Rifle Club Range Fees  are $15 adult and $9 Juniors (U18)

Please pay for your Range Fees when registering to attend the .22 sessions, select 2 sessions (ie pay $18 or $30) if you are attending Sat and Sun.
