A training weekend is being held at the Canberra Rifle Club for Biathlon East Australia member athletes. 

The Camp is part of the 2020 Biathlon East Australia, Biathlon ACT and NSW Biathlon Summer Biathlon program and will be run under the ACT requirements for COVID19 safe sport and Canberra Rifle Club COVID safe requirements.

Activities:  .22 biathlon shooting and roller-skiing session 

Training Schedule: 

Sat 28th Nov: 4.00pm to 7.00pm - .22 biathlon shooting and running

Sun 29th Nov: 7.00am to 9.00am .22 biathlon shooting and running, 10.30am to 12.30pm roller-skiing  

All sessions commence at Canberra Rifle Club.  All attendees are  expected  to assist with shooting set-up and pack-up. Training sessions will begin once set-up is completed. 

Attendees must be licensed to attend shooting sessions or are attending via an agreed arrangment with BEA and Canberra Rifle Club. 

Equipment: Roller skis, boots, poles, biathlon rifle and accessories, ammunition. 

Attendees must have their own rifles or have an agreed arrangement with BEA to use a Club rifle. Roller-ski equipment may be able to be provided under arrangement with BEA.

When registering please advise regarding equipment.  

Ammunition: If you require ammunition, please order when registering. It is suggested 1.5 to 2 boxes per session should  be ordered. 

Arrangements: Catering  - there is no catering provided - sport drinks, water and snacks are to be self-provided.  

Accomodation is to be self-provided. 

Cost:  $35 per session

Range Fees and Ammuniton Canberra Rifle Club Range Fees  are $15 adult and $9 Juniors (U18)

Please pay for your Range Fees when registering to attend the .22 sessions, select 2 sessions (ie pay $18 or $30) if you are attending both Sat and Sun shooting sessions.
