A weekend training camp suitable for all levels is being held in Melbourne.

The training camp is being held in accordance with the Biathlon East Australia COVID19 Safety Policy. Click here for a copy of the Policy. 

Where: Westerfolds Park and MISC (TBC)

Given a booking a MISC can not be made the sessions will be changed to hillbounding and classic rollerskiing at Westerfolds Park.

Activities:  Roller-skiing, .22 biathlon

Levels: junior, developing, high performance and masters athletes are welcome

Schedule: 

Sat 1 April

9.00am to 11.00am Skate rollerskiing and technique.  Westerfolds Park, meet Porter St entrance, Melway Map 33 F3

12.30pm to 3.00pm Classic Rollerskiing and technique. Westerfolds Park, meet Porter St entrance, Melway Map 33 F3

Sun 2 March

8.30am to 10.30am Skate rollerskiing and technique.  Meet Porter St entrance, Melway Map 33 F3

12.00pm to 2.00pm .22 Biathlon Melbourne International Shooting Centre MISC

Equipment: Roller-skis, boots and poles, helmets are mandatory for roller-skiing, own biathlon rifle

Equipment can be provided including rollerskis, boots and poles

A limited number of biathlon rifles may be hired. 

Cost: $115 for the weekend, $60 for two sessions or $35 per session

$25 MISC range fee to be paid at MISC  (includes paper and use of a metal biathlon target).

An additional range safety officer fee is TBC and will be divided between participants equally

Please bring own snacks and drink bottle, helmet, long socks for ski boots and personal protective gear (knee pads and elbow pads) which is recommended for beginning and developing athletes.

Ammunition can be purchased for $11 per box of 50.  2 boxes per session is recommended.
