A June training camp is being held at Mt Hothm for BEA State Team, Squad and East Gippsland Biathlon Club member athletes.  

The Camp is part of the 2021 Biathlon East Australia NSWACT State Team and Squad program and East Gippsland Biathlon Club programs.  The event will be run under the Victorian Government requirements for COVID19 safe sport.

Where:   Mt Hotham Ski Resort 

Activities:  Roller-skiing, .22 biathlon, running and mountain biking 

Training Schedule:  Two training sessions will be held each day, including a .22 biathlon training session, subject to approval.    

The camp commences Saturday 5th June and oncludes on Sunday 6 June.  Athletes are encouraged to attend for the whole weekend. 

Attendees must be licensed to attend shooting sessions and members of Australian Biathlon unless by other arrangement.  

Equipment: Roller skis, boots, poles, mountain bike, biathlon rifle, accessories and ammunition. Bring old skis in the event of early snow permitting early season skiing. 

Attendees must have their own rifles or request use of a Club rifle. Roller-ski equipment can be provided under arrangement with BEA.

When registering please advise regarding equipment, if needed.

Cost:  $35 per session or $60 per day
