BEA Jindabyne May Biathlon Training Weekend

A biathlon training weekend is being held in Jindabyne. The program is part of the 2021 Biathlon East Australia, Biathlon ACT and NSW Biathlon Performance and Development program.
The event is being held with adherence to Biathlon East Australia's COVID-19 Safety Plan requirements.
If you are ill or have flu-like symptions, please donot attend.

Where: Various locations around Jindabyne and Perisher
Activities: Roller-skiing, laser biathlon, running, hill bounding, fitness test
Schedule:
Sat 29th May
9.00am to 11.30am Fitness testing followed by hill bounding, laser biathlon and fun games
Location - Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Oval
2.30pm to 4.30pm Roller Skiing Skate/Classic - technique and training.
Location - Eucumbene Road, on way to Kalkite
Sun 30th May
9.30am to 12.00pm Snowy Mountains Nordic XC Sprint Event followed by BEA Laser Biathlon Single and Mixed Relays
12.30pm to 2.00pm Come and Try Laser Biathlon and Rollerskiing (appropriate for new and beginning athletes)
Location - Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Oval.

3.00pm to 5.00pm Palibo Track run from Thredbo River to Sawpit Creek, option to run further tracks and/or core work
Equipment: Rollerskis, boots and poles can be provided. Laser rifles will be provided. Helmets are mandatory and must be worn for roller-skiing.
Cost: From $5 to $15 per session or $25 per day.
