The New South Wales Olympic Council (NSWOC) is pleased to announce the continuation of its Athlete Grant Program.

The Grant is designed to provide financial assistance for junior sportsmen and women in New South Wales. The program aims to provide increased opportunities and assist with funding for the development of young, ‘up and coming’ NSW athletes.

The program targets athletes that do not currently receive significant funding, whether from AIS, NSWIS, state or national sporting bodies or via individual sponsorships.

This year, the NSWOC will distribute 10 x $1,500 cash grants to ‘up and coming’ junior NSW athletes.

Applications close Friday, 17 March 2017 and the recipients will be announced at the NSWOC Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 19 April 2017.
