Our 3 NSW girls were a big part of the AUS Team for the open ceremony in Lausanne last night. From the smiles on their faces and in fact all the faces on the AUS athletes, the athletes were soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the occasion.

Word from our girls includes “its amazing to be here”, “let the games begin”, “good morning Lausanne”,  “home for the next week”, wow, - I have a suitcase full of Olympic gear”, “I try to soak in every moment”, “it was a long term dream of mine to come”, “I watched my coach compete at Innsbruck in 2012”,

The girls commence racing on 11 Jan 2020 in the 7.5km Sprint, with the biathlon events being held in Les Tuffes, France, from January 11-15 2020. Biathletes attending the 2020 WYOG are born between 1 January 2002 and 31 December 2003.
