With over 60 entrants and 90 athletes training for the event, the sport of biathlon was the No 1 winner from the NSW Laser Biathlon Junior Series.

Attendance at the Presentations by all the participants and placegetters was the culmination of a great event, great volunteer support and assistance from NPWS and NSW Firearms Registry to allow the event to proceed once the approval for laser rifles in NSW was granted.

One of the great features of biathlon is the capacity for it to involve all age groups and with laser rifles now permitted in NSW, participants from a young age can become involved.
