Biathlon East Australia’s East Gippsland Biathlon Club closed out the 2020 snow season with its end of season biathlon camp at Mt Hotham Alpine Resort. Despite the snow having disappeared some weeks ago, Coach Cameron Morton put the athletes through their paces including hill bounding, dips, mountain biking and .22 target shooting for the licensed Club members who are also Australian Biathlon members.  

With just the tiniest bits of snow still clinging to the alpine slopes, 2020 has been a season of contrasts. With initial activities and events possible in July, to all events being cancelled in Victoria during August and September, to providing the opportunity for its members to attend the traditional end of season first weekend in October, it has been a great effort by EGBC to support its members.

With all activities across the BEA Clubs and Associations now switching to summer biathlon, we look forward to seeing you soon!
