NSW Biathlon athletes have been out and about training in Europe over the Christmas and New Year break from racing.

Our youngest biathlete, Alberto Allan is in Obertilliach (AUT) and will be racing in the Tirol Milch Cup, one of the biggest races in southern Austria.

Our IBU athletes are in Ruhpolding (GER) commencing a 4 week training block leading into IBU World Juniors in Slovakia. They will be racing in local races at Hochfilzen (AUT) and Ridnaun (ITA) to measure their progress during the training block.

Training will include skiing (both classic and skating), shooting, gym work and rest and recovery. Darcie Morton will also be traveling to Finland to compete in the Cross County World Juniors in mid-January and we wish her all the best with her competitions.
