NSW Biathlon is seeking to appoint new expertise to its Board of Directors.

About NSW Biathlon (NSWB)
NSWB is a not-for-profit, state governing body for the sport of Biathlon in NSW. It is responsible for running biathlon and laser biathlon events in NSW and a key objective is to grow participation and provide a pathway for athletes who wish to represent NSW and Australia at the highest levels.
Expertise and Skills Required
We are looking for book-keeping, accounting or finance skills to assist with budgeting, raising financial transactions and generally taking on the role as NSWB Treasurer.
We are looking for sport development skills, initially assisting in the organisation of training and participation sessions for members of all levels, interacting with coaches and developing athlete pathways including state team selection and programs. This role would suit an experienced marketer and communicator who also has great organizational skills.
Other skills and expertise of interest, include Business and Managment, Commerce, Law, IT, Event Management, Sponsorship and Promotion.
In addition to demonstrating relevant experience and skills being sought, other personal and professional skills can include:
• Strategic thinking and an ability to build and share in a vision for the sport.
• ability to relate to people at all levels and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including coaches, officials, volunteers, members , partners and supporters.
• integrity, honesty and openness with a focus on good governance
