Winter Training for Term 2 Commences

Training has commenced in Sydney, Southern Highlands, ACT and Jindabyne, with a strong focus on roller-skiing technique, agility, developing higher levels of fitness and endurance as winter comes closer. Biathlon/rimfire shooting either using laser or .22 is being offered in Sydney, Canberra and Jindabyne ensuring all levels of biathletes are being well-prepared for their biathlon shooting as well as XC skiing.

High performance sessions are supporting our three 2020 Winter Youth Olympic aspirants along with our potential 2020 World Juniors biathletes in Canberra and Sydney. A number of weekend training camps are being held in Jindabyne and ACT offering focussed and intense biathlon development.

A strong team of coaches are supporting the biathletes including Cameron Morton, Lucy Glanville, Darcie Morton, Archie Gordon, Bentley Walker-Broose and Damon Morton. These coaches have extensive experience in Biathlon and XC Skiing across all levels including at the highest of Olympic levels.
