Laser Biathlon Official
Biathlon East Australia's Laser Biathlon Official is open to anyone with an interest in assisting in laser biathlon sessions and attends training sessions when held.
Becoming a Laser Biathlon Official allows you to take a lead role at Laser Biathlon events, including the schools pathway events in each State. The accrediaiton is targeted towards parents, school teachers, XC ski instructors who would like to assist and get involved. A firearms licence is not necessary.
The accrediation has 4 components:
- pre-requiste Working With Children Check (or equivalent) from your State or Territory
- Completion of SportAUS Community Officials General Principles (optional)
- Attending training sessions, assisting with Range set up and Range management during a training session, both on-snow and dryland.
- Being part of the officiating team at a Laser Biathlon event either dry-land or on-snow.
