Biathlon in East Australia eNews No 1
  Welcome Introduction

Dear  [[FIRST_NAME]]

We are on-snow!  And, for the first time ever, we were able to operate the Laser Biathlon Range on the June long weekend - it was a great fun weekend of biathlon and we very much thank NPWS for their grooming of the Range.

A reminder, that registrations to enter our two on-snow races are now open, including our fantastic NSW Laser Biathlon Junior Series Schools event, on 19 August 2019.

We'd also like to introduce you to Biathlon in East Australia. A number of Biathlon Clubs and Associations have come together to create more biathlon opportunities for all.

Veteran Sport Australia
  Veteran Sport Australia

Veteran Sport Australia was set up after the 2018 Invictus Games. It's aim is to connect Veterans and their families with a variety of sport and support attendance at camps, competitive events and games.

NSW Biathlon will be partnering with Veteran Sport Australia as biathlon has been identified as a sport where veterans and their families can be involved through our Masters and Junior Development programs. Biathlon is a perfect fit as it offers both physical exercise through roller-skiing and on-snow skiing and mental focus through laser and .22 shooting.

Veteran Sport currently have a team attending the Warrior Games in USA and you can follow their success by clicking here.
